Dosbarth Brenig loved being taught some new IT skills from the children in Berwyn. They have also had an Xplore workshop all about saving money. They learnt about how to put money into a savings account in a building society.
Dosbarth Alwen have made some eye-catching posters using lots of persuasive language to encourage people to read stories about their favourite Welsh myths and legends.
Dosbarth Celyn have created their own island as part of their Perfect Planet mantel. They have been very creative and come up with a name, leaders, language and animals that inhabit the island as well as loads of other information. Their island, Blue Haven Cove sounds likes an amazing place to visit!
Dosbarth Padarn are learning about natural disasters for their mantel this term. They have done some interesting research all about cyclones and the types you can get and why they are so dangerous. They have also done some fantastic work in cymraeg about which hobbies they like and dislike.
Dosbarth Berwyn learnt some new IT skills on Adobe Creative Cloud Express and enjoyed creating flyers about their New Year’s Resolutions. They then used their knowledge to teach Brenig how they could make their own flyers. Berwyn have also been busy learning all about the rainforest in their matel. They created posters showing the 4 layers of the rainforest and used a venn diagram to show which animals can be found in tropical and temperate rainforests and which can be found in both.
Dosbarth Gwynant have been very busy starting their new Perfect Planet mantel. They have been focusing on rainforests and worked really hard to create a beautiful display showing the different layers of a rainforest. They have also been looking at the challenges facing the rainforest and have done some excellent palm oil research.
Flintshire consortium Netball Tournament
Our netball team had an amazing time playing in the tournament. They played 3 teams and enjoyed cheering every team on when it was their turn to watch.
We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to our fantastic caretaker Mr. Gardner who kept us safe in school when it was icy by making sure everywhere was gritted.
