Dosbarth Seren

have...

made Baby Bear a new chair as part of their Mantel storyline.

made a Remembrence day collage and learnt about why we wear poppies.

created firework pictures.

Dosbarth Gwyn have been exploring "capacity" using coloured water and containers of different shapes and sizes. They created some colourful firework art and also went on a nature walk.

Dosbarth Gwyrdd have read The Snowman and they have created a storymap to show the different events that happened in the book.

Dosbarth Melyn have been practising their letter writing by sending a letter to characters from the Jolly Postman story. They have made a storyboard depicting the Rama and Sita story for Diwali and they have created some beautiful clay diva lamps for Diwali.

Dosbarth Glas have been learning all about Diwali which is the Hindu festival of lights. They have retold the story of Rama and Sita and started to make their lovely tealight holders out of clay.

Dosbarth Coch have been getting very creative! They made some beautiful stained glass effect poppies and for Diwali they made these wonderful tealight holders out of clay and have decorated them with bright colours and sequins.

Dosbarth Tegid have been getting in the Christmas spirit and have been making these beautiful yarn wrapped stars. They have been practising their scissor skills, tying knots and their hand-eye coordination.

Dosbarth Brenig have been measuring out and drawing lifesize sea creatures and comparing them to the size of humans. Did you know that the longest recorded length of a Blue Whale was 30m long!?

Dosbarth Alwen have been getting creative by writing amazing acrostic poems about different sea creatures.

Dosbarth Celyn have been learning all about the weather yn cymraeg and have made posters to help them ask eachother about the weather.

Dosbarth Padarn have been busy being journalists and have reported on a remarkable moment in history, the Martin Luther King speech.

Dosbarth Berwyn have written very informative non-chronological reports about plastic pollution. They have also been looking at how long it takes various items to decompose and have plotted their findings on a timeline.

Dosbarth Gwynant have completed a science investigation to find out the properties of different materials. They have also created a Remembrance Day display with acrostic poems and lovely origami poppies.
