Welcome to the Ysgol Cae'r Nant Bulletin. It has been such an exciting few weeks welcoming the children back after the summer holidays. We have loved hearing about everything they have been up to during their summer break. Since being back the children have been working hard and we can't wait to show you what they have achieved so far!

Dosbarth Seren have been having loads of fun learning nursery rhymes and doing lots of counting activities. They have also been making marks in crushed cereal.

Dosbarth Gwyn have been very busy learning to count, order and write numbers.

Dosbarth Gwyrdd have been practicing how to draw different emotions.

Dosbarth Melyn have been drawing all of the different areas they would like to see in their ‘Dreamland’ for their Mantel work. They have even been writing lists making sure they have capital letters and full stops.

Dosbarth Glas have been busy designing the different areas they have in their ‘Dreamland’. The waterpark and zoo look like fun places to visit!

Dosbarth Coch have composed a piece of music for their Mantel ‘Dreamland’. They had a go at playing different instruments to explore the sounds of an enchanted forest.

Dosbarth Tegid have been learning how to write sentences using DADWAVERS. Look at all those adverbs and adjectives!

Dosbarth Brenig have been learning how to create self-portraits through the medium of pop art. It looks like they have had loads of fun being creative!

Dosbarth Alwen have been working very hard in maths learning all about partitioning numbers. They've been partitioning numbers into the tens of thousands!

Dosbarth Celyn have been very busy with their Mantel which is 'I have a dream..'. They have been learning all about Martin Luther King and have created fact files all about him. This child also drew an incredible portrait of him.

Dosbarth Padarn have also been focused on ‘I Have a Dream...’ they have been creating lovely posters exploring all the different dreams they have, whether they are dreams for themselves or dreams for the world.

Dosbarth Berwyn received an important letter from the WWF asking for their help as part of their 'I have a dream to solve world problems' Mantel. They have had to research the WWF and create their own CVs so they can join the team.

Dosbarth Gwynant have been learning how to round numbers so that they can estimate the answers to addition questions. They also wrote a poem about their summer holidays.
